Upload speed increase for all WiFibe services

Up to 100% upload speed upgrade for all WiFibe service plans facilitates working and learning from home - Mar 15, 2021

OAKVILLE - March 15, 2021: In order to facilitate working from home and provide even more value during these challenging times, SkyChoice is proud to announce that it has now increased the upload speed for all of its WiFibe wireless fiber Internet services at no extra cost.

"Ever since the pandemic hit us, we have seen an expotential increase of people using videoconferencing to work and learn from home. However, in most cases with videoconferencing, upload is generally more important than download speed" said Serge Cormier, SkyChoice CEO.

Effective immediately, the new upload speeds for each WiFibe plan are as follows:
- WiFibe Lite 10: Upload speed increase from 1 to 2 Mbps
- WiFibe Express 16: Upload speed increase from 1.5 to 3 Mbps
- WiFibe Ultimate 27: Upload speed increase from 5 to 6 Mbps
- WiFibe Ultra 55: Upload speed increase from 10 to 11 Mbps


As SkyChoice continues to enhance its WiFibe wireless fiber network with new technologies and additional capacity, the bandwidth offered on each plan also gets increased on a regular basis.
